Privacy policy

This policy covers two things: this website, and the private tool the channel owner uses to upload videos to the Leonida Buzz YouTube channel. Neither is a service offered to other people, and neither has users other than the channel owner.

This website

It is a handful of static pages. There are no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or tracking scripts. Nothing you do here is recorded by us. The company hosting these pages keeps ordinary server logs of requests, as any web host does.

The upload tool

The tool runs on the channel owner's own computer. It signs in to Google as the Google account that owns the Leonida Buzz channel, and asks for two permissions and no others:

• permission to upload videos to that channel;
• read-only access to that same channel's own details, so it can confirm it is talking to the right channel and read the channel's public view counts.

It never asks for access to anyone else's account, and it cannot be used by anyone else. It reads no personal data about viewers, subscribers or commenters.

What is stored, and where

The sign-in credential Google issues is stored in a file on the channel owner's own computer, readable only by that user account. It is not sent anywhere except to Google, not shared with any third party, and not stored on any server. The videos the tool uploads are made by the channel and stored on the computer that made them until they are published to YouTube.

No data of any kind is sold, rented, or passed to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. There is nothing to sell: the tool collects nothing about other people.

Google user data

Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The access above is used only to operate this channel. Access can be withdrawn at any time from the Google account's third-party access settings, which immediately stops the tool from being able to upload.
